JAH ZULU
Een ongelooflijk ervaren DJ met een enorme passie voor Reggae, Roots, Dub, Afro en Dancehall. Het voornaamste ingrediënt: pure energie!!
Hij begon zijn carrière in 2000 in Gent als een van de eerste resident DJs van de Charlatan! Hij speelde gedurende meer dan 10 jaar alle Belgische clubs en festivals af. Nadien breidde hij zijn carrière uit naar bekende clubs in landen zoals Griekenland, Turkije, de Caraïben, Mexico en Jamaica. Zijn DJ-vaardigheden bleven steeds verder evolueren!
Jah Zulu weet alleszins hoe je een feest op gang brengt.. en houdt! Zijn concepten zoals Whap Whap en Rub a Dub worden bij elke editie succesvoller! Daarnaast heeft hij ook nog zijn eigen wekelijkse radioshow, nl. “Afrolove” op Urgent.fm. Bereid je dus voor op een extreem strakke mix met een Afrikaanse flair!!

Master William and Mona Lee love to play classic 90ies House tracks and discovered they both like to bring more live elements to their DJ sets. Let’s try it out for real! See you at Charlatan for their first allnighter, back to back, with more live on the 18th of April!

Mona Lee is a multi-talented artist that brings a soulful blend of disco and house music. Next to being a DJ, Mona is a producer, vocalist and dynamic performer that leaves a mark on audiences with an authentic live act. She makes your soul sing!

​She has a release called “Joyful life” with Kerri Chandler on his album “Spaces & Places” (Kaoz Theory), which got nominated as best album of the year 2022 by MixMag. Other releases like “Be Yourself” with Romain (Nu Faze Records), “Don’t Waste Another Night” (with a Jovonn remix) on WeZienWel records and "House Music Family" on S&S Records (Chicago), are following up on the US collabs. With new releases “You Make me Stronger” on Kaoz Theory (April 2024), “Soul has so many colours” on Soulidan (July 2024), "Do it for Love" with a Dennis Quin Remix on Heattraxx (October 2024) and her very first "Mona Lee Presents EP" as a U.S. Series on We Play House Recordings (November 2024), with remixes from Red D, Stefan Ringer and tracks by DJ Merci!

Her DJ career started off in Belgium (Ghent) when she was 19 years old, but she got into a love affair with Barcelona 7 years later. Living in the vibrant city since 2019, she became part of DROP, where she shared line-ups with artists like Antal, Crazy P, Dam Swindle, DJ Spen, Kamma & Masalo, Louie Vega, Marshall Jefferson, among others.

Mona has been crossing international borders to play venues like Watergate (Berlin), Club Chinois (Ibiza), Pikes (Ibiza), DJOON (Paris), Koko (London), LoFi (Amsterdam), Rush Hour (Amsterdam), Alcazar (Rome), Brunch Electronik (Barcelona), Nitsa Club (Barcelona), Tokka (Brazil), Tomorrowland (Boom) or Kompass Klub (Ghent).
